Violent Femmes Brooch

Seven women fighting over a pair of men’s braies – an allegory of competition for a desirable companion. Hair-pulling; kicking; punching; smacking with grills, distaffs, pancake turners (?), meathooks. This makes pro wrestling look tame! The original (found in Rotterdam and dated 1375-1425) was damaged and we have filled in the braies from the remnants. If another casting is ever discovered that has something more interesting surmounting the pants (wink, wink, say no more) we will correct the mold.
