Description
$8.00 – $28.00 single piece or set
An adaptation into pewter of the buckle and chape on a silk belt in the National Museum in Copenhagen, sometimes described as the girdle of Eric of Pomerania (1381-1459). This artifact is a little confused – the textile base and the purse hanger, eyelets, and gem-set studs are dated to the 14th century. The buckle and chape are early to mid-15th century; they have effectively been stuck on to an earlier belt. We do supply studs/mounts, eyelets, and purse hanger as well, and they will all fit together, if you choose to combine them.
Fits a 1 1/4 inch or 32 mm wide strap.
