English Rose Brooch

This English rose brooch is large and beautiful, unpainted or in any of its colors! It was probably a sweetheart gift, although it is possible it had significance in relation to the Tudor use of roses as heraldry and livery.  It is also a tricky and interesting mold, as you will see in the photo gallery.
