So handsome and stylish! These comet lacing eyelets are based on a painting of the Virgin and Child by Cristoforo Canozi da Lendinara, dated 1479-1482. We don’t know anyone (yet) who closes their sleeves with lacing eyelets, but it looks great! Of course, closing your bodice with laces or ribbons is pretty slick too.
This is our fifth lacing eyelet, so there is no reason to get bored with one style. You could also use:
